Tejon with 12 X 10 Coil

Anyone have experience running 12 X 10 coil on a Tejon? I am soon to be working on an archaeological dig where the goal is to dig everything possible. My Tejon has surprised me many times in the past as to the depth it gets with the stock coil. I'm wondering if there is any real advantage to the larger coil.

well ive tried it and depth wise bring a shovel dug a hole 16" and what ever it was i gave up just to deep what ever it was

the 12X10 is the deepest coil Ive had on my Tejon so far. deeper than stock, covers more ground and better seperation. the coil cover on it is a thick one, the coil is significantly lighter without it. I switch back and forth between the 12X10 and the cleansweep depending on where Im hunting it.

Hi Neil and Denar,
Thanks for the "heads up" on the weight of the coil cover and for mentioning the cleansweep as I had not considered that one. I don't want separation as the object is to dig every target I can hear. This means every scrap of iron, nail, wire, etc. Weight will be a factor as we will work 8-10 hour shifts.
