Tek Omega simple mod

Maybe this goes in Mod forum, but figured I'd post it here as well. I'm 6'4" and found my self ending my hunts with a sore back on one side. It ended up being from me leaning ever so slightly to one side, to keep the coil close to the ground. I was going to try and drill new holes to move my pistol grip rearward, then thought about warranty issues, so it was bugging me for days. Finally today too cold to go hunting, I took the lower shaft off, and drilled a new hole for the "push button" clip closer to the end, and gave myself a whole inch longer in adjustment. Seems to be just what it needed. And there seems to be no wobble due to not as much lower rod "meat" being supported inside the middle shaft. So while not a hard mod, and certainly I'm probably not the first one to think about it, I was stuck for a solution, so if you're too tall, there's a tip.

LOL it works if you are are short as well. I had to cut an inch off of one of my lower rods and put in new holes as well.

something else i found that works good is if you can find a set of metal crutches and cut out there adjustment part and add to your shaft and get a 8in of extra adjustment if you need it longer
