Can you ground balance in the Disc mode or is it preset.. I am under the understanding that you can GB in all metal only and the Disc is preset ... thanks
 
The manual says to GB in AM over clean ground then switch to disc. I assume you GB in AM to make sure you are not over something metal.

The Fisher F4 GB does not carry over into disc. AM on the F4 does not number ID. That is two of the reasons I went from the F4 to the Omega.
