Teknetics 11" DD vs SEF vs NEL on greek series

Hi !!!

Has someone tried the Teknetics 11" DD coil, the SEF coil and the NEL TORNADO coil on Gamma 6000 / Omega 8000 and can post a comparison ?

I own the 12x10 SEF coil and it's way better than the 8" concentric in depth, discrimination and ground mineralisation, but I can't reach 30 cm. of depth at max. sens. and someone I have a problem of "ghost targets" in the border of the hole I dig, and I never tried the other two coils...

Can someone help me?

Unfortunately there are only few videos of NEL coils, and all in russian language, even websites, so I cannot understand nothing... I'd like to know more about depth, discrimination, ground balance problems and so... on the gamma metal detector...

I bought the nel coil for my Omega and it is currently mounted on the Delta
Pin points well ( no issues with size ) when it comes to pinpointing

I really like to use it in open areas and run 1 or 2 tones and listen for the deep signals.

EMI issues on the omega are more apparent than with the 11 inch coil or 10 inch
Delta runs surprisingly quiet even in my backyard ( and there are a lot of power lines )

Omega still ground balances at 64 here in Indiana.

in this video i am using the nel coil on the Omega

Sory, not a lot of air time with the coil in use just the aftermath :|

Nice, thank you...

omega + nel 12x13 '' detects no problem 50 euro cent from 35 cm

Mmmh it seems better than SEF, at least in depth! the last problem is the amount of postage and custom fees for shipping in U.E.

DD's, SEF and NEL coils are all pretty much variations of the same thing if you look at them. The SEF and NEL coils are more symetrical, don't have the sharp intersection of where the half circle meets the straight coil part. I think this is why we are seeing more depth. I hear they do very well in mineralized soil (which makes sense). I wonder where the NEL's drawback is, or is it in every way superior to a similar sized DD?

Detecting a quarter a foot deep (30cm) on the Omega is VERY DEEP. With the 11" DD coil it will only hit it to 8" or so. 50% more or so, is substantial.

Can't wait to find out for myself. Been using the at pro but I picked up a gamma to play with. Also grabbed the NEL Sharpshooter to put on her-yes she's a female =) But I'm definitely wanting a larger DD for it now. I have the storm for the at pro and it's a beast. So I'm curious what it'll be like with All Metal Mode.

I have a sharpshooter for my Greeks and I use everything but the SS.
All the teknetics coils perform better to me,I don't get the hype.

I have been using the Mars Tiger 10x13 coil for the Omega on a couple field hunts and like the sharp response on deeper targets that it gives. Not a coil you would hunt in trash with.
