:teknetics:anybody have feed back on the 5"coil for the T2:confused:

I have been using the 5" coil for about 2 months and I have found in in trashy areas the chatter is down and the separation is much better. The small coil doesn't seem to have any problem being operated at higher sensitivity settings. Depending on the soil I hunt in 75 to 80 sensitivity 25 discrimination and 3 tones
I have found some amazing finds including my first two tokens and my first Barber all since I got the small coil. I'm a new hunter I have only been hunting for about a year and a half. I love the T2 and the 5" coil is awesome and makes a great detector even better.

Yea, got the small coil and tested it out, seperation awsome, tid good, depth 5" on a coin so far overloads on surface targets so you have to raise the coil for id, only got out for 20min, DDigger

And it's real nice. I have had great luck with identifying nickels. Depth seems to maybe max out around 7 to 8 inches air test, but I don't plan on digging to China. I use just about the same settings as Shedigger. It seems to respond better with a fairly quick sweep speed. The pinpoint on mine when using the small coil is between the coil cable and the left mounting tab on the coil. Someone else may be able to give a better input on the pinpoint location. I have the 6.0 version so the depth may differ. I like it

I have been using it for about 1 month. Now I always bring both coils while hunting, because it takes few mins to switch from the large and heavier coil to this small gem. The terrain where I hunt is rocky and full of vegetation, so it is really useful to have a small and light coil (this coil also helps to sensibly reduce the overall weight of our tool). It works really well and last sunday I tested it on a field where I already dug alot of old coins , religious badges and more with at least 3 different Md's. With quite a surprise, I managed to find other 3 coins and a thin bronze devotional badge. Promoted!

Pardon the question, does the 5" coil work on all B.H. products? I have a Big Bud 220D that would be just be tickled with one.........:clapping: Please advise, Ron
