Teknetics Gamma 6000 Metal DetectorTemperature Range ???

Hi !

I would like to know the official publicized temperature range for the Teknetics Gamma 6000 metal detector if such exists and where you found it.

I've looked around on their website, including the pdf manual, but didn't see it.

Thank you very much !

Todd,

I have hunted with that machine in sub freezing temperatures of about 20 degrees and she runs well but you will notice the LCD readout is a little slow. In fact, most of the LCD units I have used in real cold conditions are a bit slow. You will also notice a "purple haze" in the background. I really do not think it is hard on the machine to hunt when it is above 20 degrees. Below 20 degrees? I would rather be inside with the dog by the fire....
