Teknetics Gamma 6000 wireless headphones solution?

Just wondering if anybody has had any luck with a wireless headphone rig for a Teknetics Gamma 6000 or similar detector. I tried a pair that used an RF transmitter and they caused way too much interference. I linked them below. I wasn't expecting anything grand out of a cheap set like these, but they were completely unusable.

I use the TDK700 headphones on my T2 and DFX,i personally think it works very well, can get about15-20 hours battery life and i cannot notice any delay,of course what works for me may not work for others but have been using the TDK setup for nearly a year.

I got a set of TDK700, and love them. they work on all my detectors,MXT,Safari,Teknetics 6000 & 4000,. I got a deal on mine at $109.00 and free shipping.

Thanks. I was hoping for something a bit cheaper, but it's a start.

So I really got to thinking about wireless headphones after reading the original posting, and I have to agree that wearing the large headphones during the summer when its 109 in the shade is very uncomfortable, I decided to try using a fm transmitter and a pair of fm receiver ear buds, ordered the whole set on amazon for less than $15 shipped, hope to get them in a couple weeks (coming on the slow boat from China) and will update everyone on either my success or failure!

Let us know how that works out for you! definitely looks affordable!

I use Rapoo 3070 RF 2.5gHz headphones. They are lightweight, no lag and sound okay. Depending on the detector you may need an inline volume control to keep from overloading the speakers.
