Heres a few pics of the Tek Mark I that I got in today. Its absolutely mint inside and out. Ill be adding a 10in coil to it soon. Had one of these back in 85 I bought brand new. Wished for it back all these years. These machines still kick a$$ today. Its a keeper this time. Rick

.................RICK..............that is a beautiful machine!! I too bought a new one back in 1985....................wish that I still had mine also!!......................So what kind of shape is your battery compartment?? This about it's only flaw .............caused by just its age!!.......................Joe

The battery compartment is in new condition. This detector evidently has been used very little. All the tabs look great.

Iv been looking for a mark 1 ltd for a few years now. I want one so bad cause my grandad had one and it was the best unit iv ever seen. Hope i find one.

Why all the excitement? Sentimental or performance? I'm interested in what your experience is and why this over say a F75 or a Explorer?

Landman if you have to ask I doubt you'd understand.................lol. Its why Id rather drive a two-tone 55 Chevy Bel Air 2 dr hardtop than a new Impala.;)
