My T2 that I have used for over a year developed a problem with the coil cable connector, where it screw's into the control box and the foam on the handle began splitting. I sent it back because with the cable problem, it would not ground balance.

First Texas got it last Friday. I called today to check on it and they told me that they had replaced the coil, replaced the foam on the handle, replaced the toggle switch, and put new graphics or stickers on it, i'll have to wait and see what they did with a sticker.

Then they told me that it has already been shipped back to me.

I am very happy with the Teknetics service!

My T-2 was on back order for about 3 weeks. I called about it and they sent it to me with a T-2 hat inside the box....
 
I got it yesterday. Very fast service.

This is what they did and what they said in the letter, (in their words):

The correction action we have taken is this:

1: Replaced the searchcoil
2: Replaced the toggle switch
3: Replaced grip
4: Replaced label (housing-relaced cable)
5: Resoldered all cables
6: Calibrated the 8-inch coil to each unit

We have completed a review of the service work performed on your Bounty Hunter T2 and we report that we find that the work was properly done and the unit test to the specifications. Our technician performed several tests on your Bounty Hunter T2 and the results were positive

I got out with it for a few minutes yesterday afternoon and it is more stable than it has ever been and the TID numbers are one number higher. I always got 88 on a clad quarter, now I get 89 on it and 90/91 on a silver quarter.

I am really pleased!

I called Keith @ Bonnie Blue yesterday to order an F-75. I already wanted one but after this service experience I am ready to get one.
