Teknetics Warantee

I just purchased a t2 and was wondering how the warantee works? It didnt come with any paperwork about the warantee in the box. Do I have to call teknetics or just keep the saes information? I bought off of ebay and from what I read after I dont know if it was a good decision to buy from ebay. I read about counterfit t2s being sold on ebay and all kinds of other horror stories! There sight said authorised seller and the detector came in real teknetics box and seems to work great but I dont know about the warantee. It said on the listing 5yr manufacturer warantee. If anyone could give me there thoughts on this purchase and what they think about buying detectors on ebay I would greatly appreciate it.
 
Warranty only applies to brand new units purchased from an authorized dealer. Call 1-800-413-4131 and ask for Felix. Have your sales receipt so you can give him the name of the seller.
 
As long as it is an authorized dealer listed on the Teknetics site all you need is your proof of purchase with a date. Problem is Ebay is full of scammers and "fake" dealers. Best bet is to call one of us sponsors from this site. We will take care of you often with better deals than fleabay. We support you before and after the sale! :thumbup:
