Telephone books

Has anyone figured out how to get old phone books from 40s 50s etc They would be a great way to find out what was where.
 
Ask Sherman and see if he'd loan you the Wayback machine.:rofl::
Actally I haven't a clue where they might have telephone book archives.. Printed on cheap paper these books probably deteriorated rapidly. My Dad would and me one for use as TP in the old shack in the back... Tried to avoid the yellow pages till the end.. Good luck! :look:
 
check the library??

our local library has a historical division that has nearly every phone book from every community in the county.
