Well, don't tell where it is, as some idiot will want it removed and stir up a stink! Let us each put a small cross and The Ten Commandments sign in our yards! And when someone yells about them in gov't places and schools....just stick up some more in private yards and wherever we can! That way God will stop satan in his tracks and put to shame the Atheists, Muslims and any other false gods and religions formed in the minds of the ignorant! May God Bless America! Amen!

I have seen pennies with lots of pictures stamped in them , but never the ten commandments. Nice find.

I guess I took this find wrong....I thought it to be a monument in the park, but I guess you found it with your detector and it does look like a pressed penny! Sorry, sometimes my mind doesn't rec or think clearly....but a good find either way! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

I often wonder why it is that people oppose the Ten Commandments.
What is so wrong with them?
Is it not a blessing to have a day of rest?
Is it not wise to have laws that say you shall not kill, commit adultery, steal, and bear false witness against somebody.
Are not the bulk of crimes (and debt) in your country and ours the result of covet(ing) our neighbour's (bigger) house, wife, servants, nor his ox (read car or machinery), and other things that are our neighbour's?
The problem of course is that " I am the LORD thy God, .... You shall have no other gods before me." That is what the opponents don't like.
Nor this bit ... "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain" and they prefer to ignore the warning "The LORD will not hold him guiltless that takes His name in vain."
Hollywood, and film producers worldwide, must hate them (one supposes) as their whole trade is built on breaking the Commandments of the Lord our God. Crime, adultery and its tragic result, blasphemy, covetousness, stealing, murder, bearing false witness and more are the stock in trade of Hollywood, and others like them.
The reality is, of course, that God has ordained are such laws and commands whether mankind likes them or not.
Judgement will one day come form the Lord, but breaking the commands automatically brings a judgement here and now.
In my broader family I have seen the dreadful judgement that adultery brings to a family - its destructive force extends far beyond the participants, and it is the innocents who suffer dreadful loss and ongoing pain.
And some of us watch it on TV every day!
Brothers and sisters, this should not be so.
The Ten Commandments are wonderfully wise and we should promote them when and were we can.

Thanks Nyal for your very true and informative post! You are right on by saying, the one and only God Jehovah is to be worshiped only and no other gods, but sinners do not want to believe this and choose their own gods and living by what they think makes them okay....But whether here and now or even later, they will be judged and suffer the consequences for the condemnation of their willfull sinning! The name of Jesus is all-powerful, so that is why He is hated and they want His name out of everything, but One Thing FOR SURE, our Lord and Savior, Jesus, Who is alive forever more, never fails, never lies and Judgement Day is coming....sometimes while still living in mortal bodies and always later at God's Great White Judgement Throne! May God bless His Children and keep us safe in His loving arms and protected while providing for our needs...but not our greeds....which is sinful by coveting! Amen! Ma Betty
