Tesoro Cortese....

Who owns one and what do you think about it?

I know it doesn't help but I have the Deleon which shares the same board, but the Cortes has other options.
I do know that the ground balance only affects the all metal mode.
Sorry I can't help more and good luck.

I have one and like it. The display could be a bit larger and the ground balance only affects the all metal mode, but in the locations I hunt I get good depth and good target IDs.

I do like the sum option on the Cortes. That sort of narrows down and give you any idea of the target.

Hmm. I might have to get one after I receive the Silver Sabre Umax.

Must admit i have only ever seen one Tesoro Cortes being used here in the UK but i have seen a fair few of the Laser HawkEyes which is the UK's version of the Deleon,it may have a few common features and use the same circuit board etc but something must be fundamentally amiss with the Cortes and why its not more popular,it may be a great machine.

But one then has too ask why they are not as popular as other Tesoro machines ?? that i dont have a answer too,the specifications look good but that does not transfer over into more user. One main reason i can think of course for the UK is that the screen is in US coinage which restricts appeal over here, but even across the pond they never caught on like Vaquero or other popular models.
