Tesoro Cult

Couldnt have said it better... the VID machines tell you not to dig. This is fine as long as someone isn't following behind you with a tesoro ot make you feel very disappointed when he digs the gold ring that your VID said was a pulltab!
 
I agree with you on TID machines.

The one exception exception I have found has been the G2/Gold Bug Pro.

All it gives you is an ID number. But it never does it tell you anything that would conveince you not to dig, unless the ID number is jumping all over the place.

But surely anyone with a brain who is looking for gold is going to dig a pull tab signal? I know I would.
 
I took my Compadre for a walk today at the local lake. I dig more with this machine but it is so much less confusing. If the Compadre beeps I dig. Found about $1 in clad, about a pound of lead, some other trash and probably 75 pull tabs:rage: The good thing is that I don't think anyone else has been there the bad thing is there doesn't seem to be much worth digging.
