Very nice and clean Tesoro Lobo VLF/ discriminator for sale . Very nice machine for coin shooting, excellent nugget shooter, relic hunting and great for gold jewelery hunting due to it's 17.8 kHz operating frequency (killer on gold rings and gold chains). The Lobo has a feature not found on many gold detectors, full discrimination making it a great coin shooter as well.

Comes with both the 10" Elliptical DD Widescan coil with coil cover AND the 7"x3.5" elliptical concentric nugget coil, and the original owners manual.

Asking only $410 with FREE shipping to your door in the cont. USA (no trades please, unless you have a clean Fisher ID Edge). Postal Money order, or Paypal (please add 3% for paypal as they charge the seller 3%)

Please PM me with any questions.

Thanks and HH,
Brian

As many of you Tesoro guys know Tesoro machines are made in America, and come with a lifetime warranty, which while not technically transferable, their well know in their generosity of honoring the lifetime warranties regardless of the respective owner.

Here's a link to the Lobo website's online manual:

Tesoro Lobo Online Manual

Here's a more detailed description of the Tesoro Lobo from the Tesoro site:

Since most gold nuggets are very small, it has been very difficult to find them using normal detectors which were basically designed for coin shooting use. Historically, any attempts to discriminate against trash have caused a complete loss of the very small gold objects. Many trash items however have a response to the metal detector which is above the domain of gold nuggets. Careful use of the Lobo's discrimination mode, after finding the target in the All Metal mode, will allow rejection of much of this trash.

The Lobo is our newest and most powerful metal detector expressly designed for the purpose of finding gold nuggets, although it is certainly useful as a coin shooter since it is equipped with an extremely sensitive discriminate mode. Its strength will also allow its use as a relic hunter, or for most other hunting situations.

Two coil styles are available, both of them in elliptical packages. The Ellipticon searchcoil is a concentric style, and is joined by the new Tesoro Wide Scan elliptical. Both styles are extremely hot for gold, but the new wide scan is less effected by mineralization. Both style give a much wider sweep than round coils, but are narrow enough to fit into crevices and between rocks.

As with any detector, the familiarity of the user with the instrument will have a great deal to do with how successful the hunter is. We recommend that you read and understand this manual fully before attempting to use the instrument in the field.

If you go to another forum you can get those coils for next to nothing,or go to DOC'S in Arizona. you can buy that little 5'' incher you have for a song....45 bucks
Remember that Lobo you have is over 10 years old...even though its cond. is fantastic, and brand new they sold for 450, even some dealers threw in an extra coil to make the sale at that time.
this site is for people that want to sell there detectors fast. not one person has even given you a look? if you look on the site (findmall) theres a GTA-350 Garret for sale hes gone down to 125.00
Although on e-bay I've seen 'em go for 350.00...Another example,,You've seen it, A minelab Quattro for 350.00, anywhere else ...especially on e-bay 6 to 650.00 all day long. the people on this
wonderful site have been doing business for years. , they aquire these detectors either for testing,or to see if it match'es against there own....etc,etc. then they sell them back to this site for a song,
and maybe a dance or two. NO WORRIES'' ,,,,OVER AND OUT!! HH. Tor541

WHOOPS.....The Quattro is actually listed for 450.00 ,,,My bad.
