Hello all,
Finally got my hands on a Golden Umax. Been searching for a while for one and I jumped at Walts ad on the classifieds. Should have it shipped out to me in Germany next week.
I got it with the 6" and Clean Sweep coils. I would like to get the 8X9 coil though. (Not much of a small coil or clad hunter.)
I notice the tones are a bit close, which probably isn't a huge deal at all in Germany as the coins hit all over the place. But, I have a warm place in my heart for higher tones.
Is there an internal pot we can adjust to get the highest tone a bit higher? (I notice there are some high tone Goldens out there, that don't have the new tone change.)
