Tesoro Outlaw Brings Home The Gold :tesoro::usaflag:

I've been a little under the weather lately and have not been doing much metal detecting, but this morning I woke up and felt like swinging the Tesoro Outlaw some. I went to a local park to try my luck. I set the discrimination low so not to miss any gold. Right off the bat I found the class ring. It was only about 2 inches deep. I knew from the sound it was something really good. It has initials in it so I'll be able to return it to the owner. I started digging a bunch of large figure eight pulls tabs, so I raised the discrimination setting to somewhere between modern pull tab and zinc penny to discriminate them out. After awhile I started worrying about missing gold rings, so I lowered the discrimination back to where it just discriminated out foil sports drink caps. It's a good thing that I did, because just a few minutes later I got a very loud beautiful sounding mellow beep. I just knew it was a ring. Yep out pops a gold diamond ring. The ring was only about inch or so deep. For your information, it discriminates out just below nickel. You have dig some tabs to find the gold.

The Tesoro Outlaw Rocks!

The real Outlaw looks a lot better than the prototype that Rusty loaned me.:)

Nice Gold rings there Tabman, WTG:thumbup:

Tabman. It is nice of you to share pictures of the shiny stuff with the rest of us. It helps to motivate the rest of us before winter to get out there and find the good stuff. Soon I will get to help my neighbor find his wife's wedding band she lost 3 years ago. I cannot wait to try to find that for them. Karma smiled on you today. You are giving back a class ring and found a nice ring in return, great job and you deserve the great hunt you had today. Glad to see you are back out again. Nice to see what the outlaw can do. HH

I agree Tabman is quite an asset to this community with his tips and motivational posts. I am excited here though cause winter in AZ is perfect weather for hunting :) beautiful find Tabdog :clapping:

Thanks Terry. However, only one of the rings is gold. The class ring is sterling silver.
