General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Tesoro Tiger Shark

I have an older one with two coils. 8" and 10 1/2" in mint condition for $450 shipped.
 
I have owned it for about two seasons. I purchased it as new from Badger detectors. He took it in as trade from an older fellow that had barley used it, so he sent it to Tesoro and Tesoro said it did not look used at all and authorized the sale and warranty as if it were new. I have only used it a hand full of times myself and I will be selling it as it appears that I will be moving and can use the money. I will try to send a picture tonight when I get home at 7pm, I am on dial up, so it may be a challange, but I will try, LOL.
 
I finally got the pictures. Anyone interested? Comes with the original box, manual 8" and 10" coil and 5 silicone packs. I found the receipt and I bought it new 4/2011 and it is in mint shape. $450 shipped with money order prefered.

John, I am Real interested in your Tiger Shark, but here is what I am struggling with as far as the decision goes. If I buy a new one, I get a life tme warranty. If I buy a used one, then if bychance in a year it needs to be repaired, I will have more into it than a new one. However, I like the fact that yours has 2 coils. I can buy a new one for $580.00 shipped. I will make a decision shortly, thanks for your patience. Where do you live? I am in Michigan. Mark
 
Massachusetts here. I have heard that tesoro is good about backing up their detectors wether or not you are the original owner. However, that would be up to them if you ever need to call upon them. Like I say, it is in excellent shape, but it is your choice and I understand where you are coming from. Good luck with your decision.
