Tesoro toltec II

Hi to all,
I just spoke to someone selling a Tesoro Toltec II VLF for about thirty bucks, and the only thing wrong is the battery connectors. I notice most Tesoro detector
don't have meters on them. Is this M/D worth it? Happy Hunting

That's a steal! Grab it and if you can't fix it yourself send it to Tesoro and they'll probably fix it for free or a minimal charge.

You bet!

Any Tesoro machine has got to be better than the paper $'s!

I've yet to hear of a Tesoro that was a flop...

It would be really EZ to pay for a $30 metal detector!

Well I went on and brought it. I'll be posting a photo of it as soon as i get the time, I had enough time to put batteries and get this post out. It does have a loud buzz when I turn I turn it on. Happy Hunting.

I understand when you first turn on the M/D you get a battery check with a buzz, The meter sticks to the far right and the buzz continues nonstop. what else can I do to adjust it. I am getting the manual downloaded, but mean while BUZZZZZZZZZZZ.

You'll probably just need to send it in to Tesoro to have them repair it. This does not sound like anything you can adjust. Send it in and it will come back good as new, and you'll have an awesome detector. It sounds like some kind of short an easy fix for Tesoro, JMO.

Thats one of thebest detectors they ever made , a bargan for 30 bucks mike parks would give you more for it he seen one pull a barber dime out at ten inches he and his frend always boast about the toltec two and they are looking for one i have never tried one but i trust what they say they have been detecting for many years
