I received a prototype 4 X 7 Elliptical DD coil for my Explorer II today. The coil is nearly as long as the Minelab 8-inch coil and narrower than the Excellerator 5 inch. The weight and balance fall somewhere in between those two. Naturally, the first place I took it was to my test garden. This plot has been buried several years and is set up with a variety of coins, as well as trash. This coil separated the trash from the coins remarkably well. I am very surprised at the depth it has demonstrated so far and am anxous to put it through the paces at one of the local "trash infested" parks. I will keep you posted on the results. HH Randy
