I live near Galveston. We hunt Stewart beach in the mornings and evenings. Go to Dirtjournal.com and read the posts. A buddy of mine uses the Ace on the beach and it works well. Most are using the excalibur in the surf.

Becarefull around Corpus Christi, The national park is a no no. Galveston has been pretty packed here lately so finds might be good. They also just laid about a foot of new sand on all the beaches.
