Texas rain sage -

Well-known member
or Texas Ranger - either one . This plant blooms shortly after rains. We have been getting a lot of rain this last month - unusual for us. Sometimes you see these plants and someone has trimmed them to a lollypop shape or a box. While it may be a nice shape for them the plant only blooms on old growth and they wonder why theirs wont bloom. steve in so az

Wow! That sure is a beautiful flowering bush and looks a lot like our Lilac Bushes when in full bloom! Strange how it blooms only when it rains!
:)

God Bless!
