Thank God it's Friday? or . . .

Tony N (Michigan)

When my mother was working she noticed on the message board at work this:

Thank God it's Friday!

So the next Monday my mother posted this:

Thank God it's Monday, and we have a job!

My mother was one of those women filled with wisdom and quick wit.
One day when the church service was over this lady came up to my mother and indignanty said: "You think you are better than everyone else since you always sit up front in church!" To which my mother quickly responded: "Oh, no, we just need being closer more than you.'

Our family of 15 took up the whole pew. We always sat in the 2nd pew. At what point is one considered humble? Is it the 3rd pew? or the last pew? Is there scientific evidence of humbleness and pew sitting?

For this is the day that the Lord hath made! :)

Sometimes when talking to friends behind me in chuch, I say you know the sinners sit from the forth row back! I was sitting in the third row! :)
It always got a laugh, and I was kidding of course!

Mike is right................the sinners always sit in the back, so they can leave quickly! I liked the middle section and usually sat in the same seat when attending church! You know humans are creatures of habit.................good or bad!

God Bless!
