I know you have posted some very nice finds over the years on here for all to see...how many people in the immediate area know you detect? Has anybody been in your house for repair work, remodeling, sales, or the like in the recent or remote past...unusual messages on answering machine, cell, phone mail, e-mail, or anything suspicious prior to this...or a rash of break-ins in the area? I definitely would look for tire tracks, footprints, etc...or frankly unusual behavior of anyone out there...definitely check with local coin dealers, ebay, pawn shops, or somewhere to sell the items...I'm sure you have thought of all this and much more but this kind of crap REALLY makes me crazy too...if I ever catch anyone in my house ripping me off, they'll be 6 foot under, no questions asked if I can help it...my heartfelt condolences...when my wife was a teenager, their house was broken into twice before the Gilmore system...she saw the guy take her purse right of the dining room table... the other guy knocked her mother down to get out of the house...her dad is a pharmacist and has had a gun to his head right in front of her during a robbery...they never told her mother I guess the best part is you and your family were not hurt or worse.
