feeling better and have started cleaning out Cliff's closet and the room he stayed in....about time I guess....as he passed away a year ago, August 12! I still miss him and get sad when I talk about him, but I am able to be cleaning his room without crying....so far! Talked to my sister last night and she is doing okay...her husband is still gaining too much weight because of his not eating properly, who has heart trouble, diabetis, COPD and a pace maker....but he doesn't care, so she will just have to let him do what he wants....this is a person to whom you can not talk to nor suggest anything, for when she does....he considers her nagging and telling him what to do and being hard headed, he won't listen to her or anyone! He says he is a Christian, but he sure doesn't act like one!!!! May God have mercy on them both and save him for sure! Amen! Well, got to get back into Cliff's bedroom and do some more cleaning...I can only work for short times without getting too tired....but the room needs cleaned out before it can be painted (which is needed really badly) and the carpet removed! I hope the hardwood floors underneath are in good shape to make everything look better after painting and sorting and/or disposing of his belongings! May God Bless each of you! Amen! Ma Betty

Thanks, Barker! I didn't work very long, as I got tired quickly but have been cleaning my oven too and still working on cleaning it! I just wish I could work like I used to do, as it takes sooooo looooong to do anything when it comes to house and yard work! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Sounds like you are motivating around the house ok. Take breaks when needed :)
Man, when I had my heart trouble I changed my whole diet and it's been over 6 years now. A guy just has to face the facts - or not I guess.

Steve in so az

Hard to believe Cliff has been gone a year. Glad you can go in there and do what you want now. Pace yourself and be careful.

My prayer for you and all those here on our forum is that our days will be filled with joy and peace. Should trials come - and they sometimes do - God will guide us - by His Spirit - giving us the encouragement and strength we need. God Bless, SeniorSeeker - Amen.

Gosh, Ma! It sure doesn't seem like it's been a year. Glad you are up to being able to start cleaning out Cliff's closet. When you're done, if you're still feeling motivated, please come to my house and get started!!! :)

Thank you, everyone, and Lisa, I sure would like to help but Ma is moving slowly and if I ever get what I need to do done, it will be a miracle and blessing from God! These old bones and muscles don't co-operate like they once did, but always did ache and get sooooo SORE, when I did overdo during the times I was even younger!
You see like an older car, our parts get worn and wear out or suffer with diseases and illnesses, so we have to slow down and then we can enjoy what time we have left in life! I used to be doing something all the time, like you, but when it is time to slow down....then we better, if we want to stay longer in our mortal and corruptible bodies, but I'm looking forward to my immortal and incorruptible body when I am forever with Jesus! Someday, I'm gonna go Home and be in that bright mansion Jesus is preparing for me and all of God's true and faithful Children! Amen! May God Bless and comfort you in the times of pain concerning your fibromyalgia and arthritis attacks...my daughter, Tami, who will be 42 in October, also, suffers from them and has for many, many years with her back...even at a very young age! Amen! Ma Betty
