Greting to one and all. I much appreciate the info
I was given regarding the GTI1500 as well as using my
buddies sniper coil. ( i may have to loose it before they get back)
I maganged to find a really nice religious medallion in a local park
yesterday. it appears to be silver is 3/4 inch long and is a medal of
the Virgin Mary. Lots of detail for a small piece.
I dug less trash using the slow swing as now I can see what the beep
is instead of swingng right thru it ( if that makes sense?)
SO less pull tabs and bottle caps more good stuff. but the NICKLE
range still gets me ,,, i find nickels by accident... The sniper coil takes
a LOT ( for Me ) of getting used to. It did find coins close to trash and
along a wire fence at an old swiimng pool being torn down.if I i decide not to
loose this one i know what Santa is getting himself for Christmas!!

Thanks again to all for the info and good stuff on this site. As soon as
I figure out my digital cam Ill try to post some pics of the stuff!!!

I am finding more nickles since I got my 1500. I must say all I have found hit exactly on the 4 notch. There may have been exceptions, but I don't remember them.
But I know others say they find them at about a half notch off nbr. 4 so I know it is possible. Problem is, there is one particular type of pull tab (the newer ones) that also many times hit exactly on 4 as well. Just part of the game I guess.
