Only had an hour this evening after work but the new settings worked like a charm. Had all but given up on this old house site because of all the iron, until today. This makes 6 large cents and 3 indians from this site. Newest coin from here has been 1883. This site is a soybean field in the middle of nowhere, 500 yards from the nearest road. The fertilizers and farm chemicals has not been kind to copper over the years. Will hunt hard Saturday and Sunday as the field will be planted the first of the week. Thanks so much for the advice, the high pitched signals were easy to hear amongest all the low tones. Dates: 1849,1863,1883.

Nice coins Jim! I'm glad the settings worked out for you. Keep us posted on how you do.
