You are welcome, dirtmaster, but we each need to know how far to go with our witnessing and once we have spread the Gospel of Jesus to them, we have planted a faith seed or watered someone else's seed or seeds that have been planted! To go farther is just beating a dead horse and when the time is right and God's Word has worked in their hearts by opening blinded eyes and deaf ears, they may or may not believe and receive Jesus as their own Savior! God saves and we just occupy in the place of Jesus until we are caught up unto Him....then He will send witnesses in the great tribulation but most will refuse the true Messiah even then! We can only do what God's Holy Spirit quickens us to do by His leading and by studying and preaching the Word.....it won't be their blood on our hands by doing the right thing when we are told to do by our Heavenly Father! You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink! Therefore, it is up to the horse to drink of the natural water and for the lost sinners to drink from the fountain of Spiritual water and truth!
When people are blind and deaf or just straddling the fence....trying to walk both sides.....they most usually will not listen to anyone and then God will get their attention in some way that will be very difficult of a trial for them! God got my attention by taking almost everyone away from me....not through death....but through a divorce by the telling of many lies against me....and, yet, I praise God for it, because I have drawn so close to Jesus and He has drawn close to me that even though it was so painful with griefs and heartaches at the time, I truly thank God for who I am in Jesus and where I am now, as one of His faithful saints and a Child of God, as a Sister to Christ!
Can I make someone who doesn't want to or thinks it is foolish to say there is a God Jehovah or that the Bible is absolutely true. NO, but God can and He will in someway or the other, until they refuse for good and the Spirit of God permanently leaves them, for God will not always strive with man! When anyone insists on going or living their own way.....The Holy Spirit will just leave and allow them to do so, for He won't force anyone to believe or accept His only begotten Son, Jesus! My only regrest was not knowing Him sooner like I know Him now, although I knew of Jesus and went to church most of my life!
As me son, Mike, says: God is good and is good all the time! If anyone doesn't have or know that goodness and His blessings, has only themself to blame! May God keep on blessing and keep the faith by walking with Jesus, daily, and serving Him, faithfully! Amen!
