..he knows I got tomorrow off;so he asked me"BEING YA GOT FRIDAY NITE OFF,HOW ABOUT GOING DOWN TO THE BAR THURSDAY NITE FOR SOME KARAOKE?"I said-"Im NOT going to a bar after work-NOT gonna happen"...He then proceeded to call me a cheapskate;and says"WELL;YOU CAN DRINK COFFEE OR POP!"...I ask ya;how would it look for member of church council-MARRIED-to be going into a bar at 11:30 at night-WITHOUT his wife??He told me once before"DONT MATTER IF YER MARRIED-C'MON,let me show ya how to REALLY live!!!":devil:In some ways;its like talkin to you-know-who himself.:starwars:

he doesn't need to know what they are..living for Christ is always 'a plan'.

There are those who feel inadequate and so to feel better about themselves they don't want to 'rise up' to someone else's level - it might mean making a life change for the good - so they instead try to drag others down to their level...cess pool level. That way they feel better about themselves.

Just continue to pray for him. Will pray for him as well.

...Im not really afraid to tell him why I wont go...As a matter of fact;I have told him before-Its in my past;no need re-livin it;etc.-He keeps tryin;though....

he asked once, he got an answer. You don't owe him an answer to a question you have already answered...or one which he already knows the answer to. To ask a question to which one already knows the answer is only an attempt to start an arguement. There is no need to ask a question if one already knows the answer. That is called 'baiting'. Don't take the bait.

How about you come over and we drink pop and watch the game instead! :)
