The Acme Whistle

I found what appears to be an older Acme whistle today. A company was tearing down an older house right around the corner from me, I stopped and got permission and soon after found the whistle. It says The Acme, Regd, England. Sorry for no pics. Funny thing is I am going to England tomorrow! HH Randy(NJ)

I have found several of these over the years. There are several models, the most common of which seems to be the ACME Thunderer. They were often used as police or military whistles and these usually have a broad arrow or a number stamped on them.

Hey nice whistle! I do a little bird hunting and use the same whistle with the dog, as far as I know it is still available.
