The Atmosphere of Heaven

We use the word atmosphere to describe not only the physical environment of air that surrounds us, but also the attitudes, feelings, emotions, support, and affirmation of those around us, which create an atmosphere that may be positive or negative. One may thrive or die, depending upon the nature of such atmospheres. Let us now consider the atmosphere of heaven and study the effect it can have on the lives of believers here and now on earth. What can you learn about the atmosphere of heaven from these texts?[/color]

Job 38:6-7 (New King James Version) "To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?"[/color)Psalm 103:20-22 (New King James Version) "Bless the LORD, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word. Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, you ministers of His, who do His pleasure. Bless the LORD, all His works, in all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul!" Psalm 148:2 (New King James Version) "Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts!" Luke 15:7 (New King James Version) "...say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance." Revelation 21:4 (New King James Version) "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."

The atmosphere in heaven is clearly one of joy and praise to God. Several of the texts above call for the angelic host to praise God. It is a rich experience to see in the mind

I have revelating hope in Lord Jesus Christ that I will enter His beautiful and glorious heavenly Kingdom someday and be with Him in His most delightful and perfect atmosphere of joy, peace and love while we and all Heaven's creature praise God for all He has done through His beloved and only begotten Son, Jesus! I am waiting for that wondrous day to enter into the light of His holiness and wondrous glory! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
