I really had to work for my finds today. The beach just didn't want to give up anything. I finally had to run in AT mode to find anything. I don't know the last time I ran in AT mode? In disc mode signals were not repeatable, they broke up and the ID numbers just weren't there. Dug a lot of trash. Those are iron bracelets and a car for the grandson. I did a lot of walking and enjoying the beauty of mother nature. It was a great day to be detecting. Thanks for reading and enjoy hunting this week end.....Z

Yeah Z, the beaches over here have been real slim..lots of walking and swinging for a little clad, beer cans, and whatnot...I did find a pair of glasses this am that is my prescription, and are better than the ones I currently wear! What are the odds of that? .I'm hoping this heat wave thats fixin to hit us this week will bring the droppers out in droves...I guess I've been running a 5 disc on the beaches this year instead of AT 'cause I like that DP tones so much...keep swingin and postin' old pal, you really do get me out of the house at Odark thirty everyday. If theres gonna be big gold dropped, it will be this week for sure. HH

Not even beer cans!Mud we have the beach sweeper that hits the beach every morning about 3:30AM. He is done about 9AM. The only thing that guy misses is pull tabs, bottle caps and broken glass, cans. I run max sens in the morning and end up with a few coins. 7 coins in the morning is a good day now. When that machine was broken down for a few weeks my coin count was way up during those weeks. I am only going to the beach because the dirt is getting so hard. Yes we have some hot weather coming so thinking I might spend more time in the recliner. Maybe tumble a few loads of coins. Wife needs quarters. I already have 320 quarters this year. It is a good year. Don't even think of using the ATPro anymore really hurt my arm swinging that thing. Like it, but I am going to get the new fix and put it up for sale. Buy my F70 back from my friend.
Mezrein I know those kind of days. Had a few of those day myself as we all have. Beach hunting isn't the best for collecting lots of coins. It would be better to hit some tot lots or parks to pick up coins. Thanks my friend ......Z

You know I had the same problem today. The beach was unwilling today to give up anything in disc mode. had to go to all metal mode????? Maybe something in the air with all this heat. Found 5 quarters 3 nickles 1 dime and the same type of car as you found.

Crusher, my friends tell me it Aliens are doing it? or maybe it Mercury in retrograde ?or the photon belt ? I think it is the humidity. I noticed when beach hunting it is different and conditions change on the same beach from day to day. So I just adjust to it. Thanks for reading...Z
