The best of the Worst

This blurry picture is some of the little more interesting junk targets I have dug from a Middle School practice field. Field from early 70's used for football, little league, band practice primarily. Some of the items are pieces of a band instrument, button from a band uniform. Couple of knives, a 3 ring 50 cal. bullet, a Lead ( I think ) Mermaid with mower damage. Left arm and tail hacked off. Also a collection of fake ancient cut coins.
Not pictured are the hoard of Clad coins unearthed this year. (Just over $17) Been hunting this field for 12 years, now getting down to the deeper targets with the X.

The worst just got better. Temperature started dropping, so decided to hunt back across a soccer field I've been hunting towards my Jeep. Field been around since th early 70's. This year I've dug a lot of Clad, many of them Deep dimes and lots of nickels. A small silver ring a while back but today, hit a real strong signal, I really didn't think it would be very deep. Well about 5" down I see this muddy bracelet. Telling the truth I thought it was Junk. After I got home, wife decided to give it a rince. "I thought so!" I heard. 925 Silver ! 25.5 pennyweight. Not too shabby.
Been running first discrimination around 31 Alt. Discrimination at 36. Truthfully rarely can I hunt my other machines.
Leaving after Thanksgiving for some extended beach hunting. The X , and the Garrett Infinium will be sharing the duties.
