THE BEST WAY TO LEARN THE ETRAC

sugar

New member
I have been working with the etrac on a site with very little to offer and i do feel this is the way to learn the etrac i am finding always to make the etrac tell me about a signal including getting used to the manual sensitivity i have been using pinpointing around areas where i consider of interest say where i have discovered a roman coin i watch avidly where the cursor sits and if in the good target area i dig with some very positive results i think that if i get a really good target on a normal hunt i will be using pinpoint around that area and manual sensitivity to check there is nothing else i am missing just thought i would share this knowledge with you guys

This is the longest sentence I have ever read.

Then you haven't been on the forums very long!

Thanks for sharing sugar and let us know how well your technique, works out for you. :smoke:

Yes, I've only been here a short while, but I've come to question why quite a few don't believe in the power of the period at the end of a theoretical "sentence".

Sugar,
I completely agree, I think, with your thought(s). I'm also new to the machine and running in a non- trashy area is much more the kind teacher. I'm starting to get a grasp on falsing, which to me happens more than I'd like, from good targets and how to adjust the ET to try and keep them to a minimum. I wonder if ML was to put a much faster processor on board if that would help keep the signals more distinct.

Now if I could just find some more sites to search...
