The Bottle Dump #3

Went to the Bottle Dump today. Been detecting for the past 5 weeks and I wanted to change it up a little bit. Also, since it's getting warmer, I wanted to get to it before it becomes too overgrown and the critters come out. (I was too late on that one. Saw a baby copperhead near my gear. Took a pic but it will not download from my phone.) The snake didn't bother me but I had a nice fluffy spider on my shirt and I did a jig almost down the embankment into glass shards. Yup, hellloooo TOT LOTS!

I found a nice "MOM" bottle in decent condition and my first "Caravan Ginger Ale" bottle. It turned out to be a very good day at the dump! Thanks for looking and God Bless. Greg

Beautiful Finds! But snakes and spiders aren't two of my favorite things to find when detecting. Glad you're okay and all ended well.

Very nice! Do you take Al and the kids Geocaching? They would love it....might be wrong to say this on a metal detecting forum, but I would rather Geocache than detect any day.

I do not take them...yet I've been considering it for my oldest and middle daughters. But my lil guy is 2 1/2 so he unfortunately gets left out of many things because he's still young. I won't tell anyone that you would rather Geocache than detect... your secret is safe with me.
