Hello everyone. This thread is about GB, Reactivity/silencer settings, and coils. How does one figure out how much ground rejection to apply if any need be applied? If we set the react/silencer at 0 or 1 react and -1 or 0 silencer we see the deepest but this allows masking to occur. Would the deus become unstable if XP retuned the machine to push deeper when reactivity set at 2 or 3 w/ silencer set at 1 or 2?
I realize hunting trashy areas is best served with smaller coils. What makes the 11" coil so desirable if the electronics are the same as the 9"? I have been using a 11"x13" coil lately and am curious if due to its size the large coil pushes deeper because it is larger or if you get the same performance from the smaller coils? Sure you can take a fuller step with the large coil I'm curious about performance vs size? I have read smaller coils break and rebuild electronic fields faster than large coils aiding in target separation when or if we set the reactivity and silencer at say 2 & 2. Is there any truth to this?
Thank y'all for all eh time and energy.
