Well..... Now I am really determined! Over the last week or so things have been a little slow on the gold front! The weather has also been against us, with big swells, fairly high winds and murky, roughed up water. Have been land locked, forced to do the wet sand and dry sand of the local and city beaches! However things are looking up slightly and now I am keener than ever to achieve last years total! Hopefully will be able to write a "yearly wrap up" in the coming weeks!
Heading off to Brisbane (Surfers Paradise) for a 10 day holiday with the family - so will be sure to pack at least one detector as that beach may just get me over the line
All rings in the attached photo are 9ct.
Two rather plain men's bands, a smaller female signet ring and a large, heavy greenstone ring. This last ring was near black when found, having been in the water / mud for a very very long time!
The chain appears to be gold, but has no visible markings, checked on the CTX as well (reads 12.09). May need to borrow an acid test kit for that one!
The "gold" count down is on.....
A shout out to forum member "54Shooter" and thanks for the ATX which has now been put to great use in the saltwater! The rings above all with the 8inch mono coil, and your old / new ATX
