The future of Whites metal detectors

Good evening group. I have been following the majority of the top names in the detector market and owned most of them. Do you think it's to late for whites to challenge the market with a up to date flagship model of the company? What's your opinion?

In my opinion its never too late to challenge the market . What a challenge it will be , with all of the great metal detectors out there. They will have to come up with something innovative with a wow factor that rivals all of its competitors. The last Whites I owned was a spectrum xlt . A great machine , They just didnt step up their game when other companies were coming out with newer technologies. Thanks for posing the question and Welcome to the forum.

Thank you for you input

Wow I had no idea Whites closed their doors after 50 years of business

I hope Garrett releases the White's TRX pointer. Its the best on the market, and it now sells for double its list price online

We recently procured a Whites. It works well. Which brands are equivalent or better?

That new gold machine from Garrett was released from Whites just before they went under. I think Garrett just relabeled it.
Yep, you are correct in that Garrett just relabeled the Whites 24k. Whites was a great brand. Their machines were just as competitive as other worthy brands. Just like me, age has a way of eliminating competitiveness 🤣😂. Hate to see them go as I have seen many detector companies go out of business.

Still love my oll MXT .
I was hoping Garrett would combine technologies.
And come out with an Awesome PI machine.
Part Infininium and White's TDI.
Or part AT Pro and the MXT Pro.
Particularly the confidence block technology and the ground balance and tracking from the MXT to the AT.
So many possibilities.
Hopefully they don't waste it.
