Ah the G2....I loved thee and I despised thee but barely knew thee. Thats Shakespeare detector talk for ya! I liked and disliked some things about the G2 and wish I still had it if that tells you anything. Compared to the chattiness of Omega, this thing is mild and oh so quiet. Depth was good, TID was on, super light weight, great on gold items and jewelry. Did not like the love affair it had with bottle caps though with that 11" dd coil but I figured out some ways to distinguish them. Now I'm starting to miss the G2! Back on topic though, did the G2 come from Richard as well? If that Golden umax had been available I might have snatched it up first b4 Hank got his jewelry grubbing paws on it
