The Guy Who Slammed The Garrett Seahunter MarkII Is A Fake! I caught him telling lies about his identity.
I found him posting on another forum. He's "BUSTED".......On it, he's not from Mexico... he's from the Caribbean........ a diving instructer too. I also found him asking the exact same question, word for word (different topic though) on the Tesoro Forum and a different form from the Findmall Website, so I know it's the same guy..

Below is a link the Garrett Finmall post where he lives in Mexico and wants to kill somebody.

Below is a copy of the post from different forum. In this one, he's a scuba diving instructor living in the Caribbean.

[size=large]I live in the caribbean and Im scuba diving instructor,so I dive very often here.Ill buy metal detector soon however I cant decide wich one,I ve heard "Sea Hunter II"is very good and reasonable price (around 600usd).But what about the Trident Metal Detector"????
Does anyone has some experience with one of these detectors???

My gut feeling told me that there was a little more to his ranting about the detector story that he had presented. I just had to prove it. :) I really hate someone putting down Garrett or other company for that matter, especially when they lie and hide their identity. It was quite obvious to me that he really had no idea how the Mark II was supposed to work,

... are they just childish or merely an idiot.
Hard to tell the trolls, these days. :look:

That's why I only pay attention to the positive side posts. I know that these manufacturers still wouldn't be in business if everything I read was true. And,of course, if they knew the MAN behind the company they would NEVER even consider their actions.

Good detective work John, just from reading his post he sounded like a real PISSHEAD to me!! W.T.G. H.H. Kevin

Looks like a :thumbdown:SPAMER

THIS MESSAGE IS FOR YOU "JOHN-EDMONTON"
Yes,Im the same person,I posted that question several weeks ago, bfore to buy my Garrett Sea Hunter.
Yes,Im diving instructor and I live in Mexico,in the mexican caribbean. If you see a map you will see some mexican cities on the caribbean,CANCUN,COZUMEL,PLAYA DEL CARMEN ARE ON THE MEXICAN CARIBBEAN.
Hope you learn more about geography before to post such comments.

n/t

So now you live in the Mexican Caribbean. First Mexico, then the Caribbean, now the Mexican caribbean. You really are something else.... make up your mind. Of course I know geography, don't you?

Okay you are a diving instructor but that doesn't mean anything when it comes to metal detecting... You posted a bad negative review on the sea hunter which is a great detector for those experienced detectors users like John Edmonds !!! John has given us new detector users all kinds of usefull information. Maybe you should have asked the advice of John or Bill on how to really use the sea hunter before you bashed Garrett on the detector But we all know what the real problem is you !!!!!!!!! You could not afford the Sea Hunter and you do not know how to use it!!!!!!! Metal detecting is a HOBBY and not a way of getting Rich .. If my job or business would not allow me to afford a metal detector i would quit today and get another job so i could buy one or just go on welfare!!!!!!!!!!!: garrett:detectors are the best to bad they can not control who buys them!!!!
