It was in the upper 90's here today. I went back to the Christmas tree farm today. I lasted 6 rows, a little over an hour. It was just to dang hot out. I found a 1942 d wheat, a shotgun shell end and a .22 casing. I also found a piece of copper pipe that some would pawn off as a ring and an old Levi rivet.

The high temp was 51 the low for tonight will be about 28 degrees.Send me some warmer weather,please.

Sounds to cold for me. My folks were from Ohio. They moved to CA in the late 40's. Thanks goodness for me. I don't like cold or snow.

That's why I left Illinois back in 1955 and headed to California. I had my fill of cold, snow, ice, tornados, and blistering, humid, summers. I also lived in Phoenix where in the dead of winter it is 70-80 degrees Really tough to handle.

Houses here in CA are cheap now.

Especially in Bakersfield. Got a nephew that ain't to happy about those lower prices. He owns three one million dollar homes in Southern Cal. Lives in one and rents the other two. I keep waiting to hear he has lost his arse.
