The Holy Grail of Mercury dimes

I am so envious of that coin as it is going to cost me over $1000 to get one.
I love the dug 16-D mercs because they are almost 100% guaranteed genuine.
Nice scan also, I am going to save the photo of the "D" for help when I purchase mine.

I am going nuts down here. Wise we had some of them really old parks to hunt. Hope you find a bunch more there, Take good care .

Make sure it is authenticated (by being certified) as there are far too many fakes floating around. I'm not even sure if this is genuine but I guess I'll find out when I submit it for certification.

weekend and do some damage. I'm still envious of that seated dime. At the risk of sounding greedy, let's get you a second one and me my first!
Talk to you Saturday,

Joel

PS - thanks for listening to my garbled, profaned laced account of the "big" find. I had to call someone immediately who could appreciate it with me and, of course, you were first on the list!

because I'm always jealous of the guys on the East coast who pull those great old colonial coppers out, but I guess you do what you can with what you have.
Thanks for the kind words,

Crispytoo

I can only imagine the rush you got when you saw that "D". You've sure got the bar set high for yourself now. What can you find that will top that coin?LOL Thanks for posting the photos, I love seeing a key-date coin even if I didn't find it.:clapping:
