stop the slow connection. I've had it as high as 1.1 megabits and as low as 246,000 bytes per second. I've been using this Webroots Accelerator and it's helped boost the speed somewhat.

... even with cable, it gets slow. Sometimes so many people are on at the same time it really bogs things down.
