The Local Agriculture class has a corn maze to raise funds. They must have gotten a late start planting cause the corn didn't do too good, in fact some of it the silk hasn't even turned brown yet which is good for the 1/4 horse cause that's whats for supper....................

Last night was the end of it.........so on a hunch I thought I would just the maize maze this morning.......one of the workers that was dismantling it said I wouldn't find anything in a corn field.......l@@ked at me like I was crazy......must have known me.........

First came the five bucks, then a one bill, and a little while later another dollar, interspersed with some quarters.

I didn't have the heart to rub it in by telling him I'd found over 8 bucks..... ......but I did pick up enough of that corn off the ground they knocked over making the maze and had 3 ears for lunch, and its MMMMMMmmmmm Good......so the rest is on the menu for supper along with some BBQ ribs and cole slaw...........my tongue's slapping what little brains I have left waiting for supper.

I would have figured that would have been can slaw............ I went back thru the patch and got about 4 dozen more ears today + 15 cents a dime and a nickel........tomorrow we'll do corn & "taters" & beans

We went to corn maze this fall when visiting my daughter in Lubbock-that corn IS dang good! Finds come in various forms and I'd say overall you had a kick azz day!
