The last hunt

I sat around all weekend doing jack squat! Sunday rolls around and inspiration doesn't strike me til 5pm. I just have to give the street improvement spot one more final swing. By Monday they will be doing final grading and then all will be lost forever. Kinda glad I went out, we had pretty bad wind and rain all weekend but Sunday was pretty nice so off I went. As I arrived I had noticed they dug down another 8 inches all through out the site. Right off the bat I found a 1945 wheat, then a buffalo nickel close by. That being my 3rd only buff, which was dateless dang it. Then up pops a old ring and what looks like a small diamond. Inside the ring it's marked 14 and cursive writing. Looks like it says C to J. Possible love ring? Not gold but still cool find. Got another 45s wheat, and a 1898 barber dime I had missed before. Last find was a 1928s buffalo! Wasn't in circ long before it was dropped I'm guessing. That site was a fun dig, wishing for more silver, like a silver quarter dang it. Oh well there's always tomorrow

Nice finds

Very nice finds, way to go on the Barber and the Indian. Found a 1906 Barber myself couple of weeks ago, it's a wonderful feeling to find so old silver.
