The Logo Discrimination works quite well on the AT PRO in either mode as a concrete method to ID bottlecaps.

You lost me on that one Bill....lol Is that logo discrimination for bottle caps. Just set the detector for Bud , Coors, ect. and it will knock out that brand of cap..lol :drinking: Just pulling your leg!

just tried it...and yes it works great in both modes. A real handy piece of info, thanks for sharing it

Hey why not. Maybe install a "draft" control. HA. Did you read my post on that little trick? I had forgotten about it. I do a lot of this stuff automatically when detecting and it never enters my mind that other folks might not be aware of it. I have to do a "Three Stooges" sometimes and slap myself to wake me up. HAA.

Bill

Is this technique something that can be used for other detectors using a DD coil?
Other brands even?

Thanks
Tony

well I can honestly say I have already donated... unfortunately...swimming in the Waikato river in New Zealand, a free camping ground called Reids Farm , in the lagoon , I lost a wedding band in there; its only about 8 foot deep at low river. So if any of you are over that way..... happy hunting.

I must be slow.

For those of us who are ignorant on this topic could you Pretty Please tell me what Logo Discrimination means?

Thanks
Jeff
