i have a friend who saw the detector hanging in a cupboard in our house and wanted to know if he could use it to beach hunt.i said okay, if it still works?when i hung it in there,it was still working.cancer and ten years on i'm back in the hobby with a different type of detector.new batteries and it appears to be as good as ever.my problem is i can't remember how to set it for the young man to hunt and i thought someone on this forum might remember how it was done.he's not a rich man but he thought that using this old detector of mine he could better himself .i suggested buying him a more modern type but he said no. if it worked for me it'll do. hope someone can help. hh see ya.blowfly
