The miracle happened...thank you God, the Father, King Jesus, the Holy Spirit, our Pastor and all those who have prayed. We have heat again....and I am exhausted Thank you all.

Don't know how God did it, but I know He has answered prayers and I am glad for you and the animals! Praise God that now Sherry can get to come home for sure! Thank You, Jesus, and Holy Spirit for Your love and mercy upon Pete and family, for He is One of Your own and loves You! Amen!

I had no money to hire someone to even look at it to see what was wrong with the heater - let alone fix it. You know we try to do things our way first so I sent an email to a guy who was a Neighborhood Watch Captain for his area nearby...coincidence that he either worked on this furnace before or had installed it...it had a sticker on it with his name, addy, etc, Thought well now that has got to be a good sign...maybe he would fix it for me and I could pay him later. (Still haven't heard back from him so obviously God had other plans knowing Paul would not get back to me soon enough).
I called the Pastor hoping maybe he could recommend someone. He did but again no reply. Called the Pastor back and got him out of bed and dressed and he came over. He could understand why the furnace pilot light worked the way it did....most have heard of putting the knob to Pilot then holding the button down, light it and continue to hold for a minute..this didn't work like that...who ever though SET meant to do the same thing. He could SET it and get it to light but then when released it went out. That told him it was the thermocoupler that controls the pilot was defective.
The Pastor knew I was saving what gas was in the van to get Sherry on Tues so before he even got to the house he got a $20 bill out of the bank and gave it to me. With that I got the $8 part and installed it myself. Used the rest of the money to put into a gas can...just in case we did get snow in which case I would be unable to make it to church (25miles each way) and I would have it to run the snowblower and gas left over for the van.
If it didn't snow I had the gas to put into the van to help get to church and to get Sherry. Had I put it in the van instead of the can I would not have been able to run the snowblower today...and I definitely needed the snowblower after all.
So God had His plan and worked out great...He even gave me the talent to do the repairs though I had never worked on a furnace before other than lighting a blown out pilot light. To me this is all a miracle of God. I had a need that I could not take care of - He more than met that need.God is wonderful. When I had nothing but hope and faith in Him, He again proved He is there to help. And of course He also knew what today's weather was going to be like....I needed heat.

Amen Pete.....You have shown great faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as He has not failed you...when we do all we can, we then stand by faith, and let go and let God and you do! God gave you a good brain and you use it along with arms and legs to do what learning and talent God has given you and with the guiding of the Holy Spirit, you have what you needed...and that was heat and some gas....God is soooo goooood....and He does supply our every need right at the time He knows we do or will need it! God is great in His coming through and giving us His blessings which are many! May you and Sherry have a warm home filled with Christ's wonderful love at Christmas and all through the New Year! May her health get better and better in God's loving care in Jesus' name I pray! Amen! Ma Betty
