Just curious about using the MX5 as a gold/prospecting detector?

I know Whites has some great coils for prospecting with the MXT. And being the MX5/M6 are basicaly a stripped down MXT. How well is the newer, lighter MX5 as a gold detector. I know its mainly a coinshooter. But its bloodlines leans well for all purpose use.
