We talked to the union reps at shift change this morning;still the same answer;NO NEWS on out plant closing....Onr of the union stewards said he is gonna call the union office every day if he has to till we get answers.I told the steward"Maybe we should ALL call him-overload his message system;let him know there are a LOT of scared,angry people over here that feel all alone,and want answers"-the steward looked at me and said-LOUDLY in front of the whole workforce"JUST WHO THAT WORKS HERE DO YOU THINK HAS THE #$%^%S TO START THAT BALL ROLLIN?"I told him "Its not a matter of havin big cojones-it's whats right;-AND I tell ya what-I WILL CALL HIM MYSELF"!!!-AND that is just what I did after work this morning-I DIDNT scream,swear or offend-Just told him like it is-"DAVE,THIS IS STEVE FROM *******;AND I JUST WANT TO TELL YOU THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT ARE GETTIN THE FEELING THEY ( ME INCLUDED) ARE NOT BEING INFORMED ON THIS ISSUE OF US LOSING OUR JOBS PROPERLY -SILENCE IS NOT THE BEST COURSE OF ACTION IN THIS REGARD"-I told him my name TWICE so he knew who it was-(RARELY have I hid behind anonymity);and so the whole union office can see there are peoole out there that can state their grievances without resorting to trash talk-and believe me;if everybody else I work with calls him;lets just say that there will be a lot less kind words sent in his direction...

was just thinking...maybe the union higher ups are worried too...like where will there money come from when there are no union workers making money to pay union dues? Bet they are scared too.

Probably only the big whigs (CEO's) at the main offices know anything, as yet, and it will come down the line as the news is confirmed! Too many rumors are spread otherwise! It could be that no one really knows what, when or how things will go until they hear from BO and his stimulus packages! The Gov't rules with their dictating liberals and they have to be followed exactly, for we now have a big Liberal Dem in office along with all the other ones he's appointed to do as he says! Don't give up and keep praising God, for it is Him Who will work it all out for you and the others for His purpose! His way is best and not the worldly governments!
